After his wife's death, John Sabine's skeleton was discovered at their flat in Pontypridd after he disappeared in 1997. After many loose ends, the police finally got a tip from his wife's neighbour. She said that his wife, Lee Sabine, confessed that she killed John by hitting him over the head with a stone frog. Murdertown visits local communities throughout the country rocked by murder and tragedies, from which the scars persist to this day. Through the testimony of investigating police officers, local journalists, friends and relatives, the series re-tells these shocking incidents and how the lives of those directly affected will never be the same again.
