Shop assistant Rachel Manning had been to a 1970s-themed fancy dress party and Chicago's nightclub in Milton Keynes with her boyfriend, Barri White, when she became lost in the early hours of 10 December 2000. Police suspect and arrested Barri a few hours after finding Rachel's body and didn't let that go until his was sentenced. Only when the BBC filmed a show about the case was the actual murderer discovered. Murdertown visits towns and local communities throughout the country rocked by murder and tragedies, from which the scars persist to this day.
