Seven years after the limbless body of a woman had been found wrapped in a trunk in the left luggage department of a railway station, a Brighton railway attendant noticed a foul smell in the cloakroom coming from a locked trunk.

Inside was another torso, this time with the arms enclosed. The legs of the lady were found in a case at another railway station. The post-mortem revealed that the dismembered woman had been pregnant…
