Brian Perry, recently released over Brinks-Mat bullion heist, is shot

Detectives did have certain clues that Mickey McAvoy was behind the Brinks-Mat Heist, namely, the fact that his two Rottweiler dogs at his new cash acquired mansion were called ‘Brinks’ and ‘Mat’.

With a trial approaching, McAvoy entrusted his share of the gold to contact Brian Perry. Perry, however, never gave McAvoy the gold back but he did serve time for handling it.

On Perry’s release, and returning from a shopping trip, he was shot three times in the back of his head and died instantly...
