A purveyor of anti-Semitic sentiment so rabidly violent that it got him thrown out of Oswald Mosley’s infamous wartime band of Nazi sympathisers, “The British Union of Fascists”, William Joyce was the last man to be executed for high treason in Britain.

Joyce was a constant irritant to the British government in the 1930s, drumming up fascist support with his electrifying rhetoric and encouraging violence against political moderates.
