Bubble & Squeak Murder: The Killing of David Jackson

The night before Valentine’s Day 2021, a private birthday party celebration in a sleepy coastal town ended in bloody murder. During the trial later that year, recordings of the 999 call and video footage from police bodycams were beamed around the world.

66-year-old Penny Jackson had murdered her ex-army officer husband, David Jackson, with a paring knife. She’d stabbed him on three separate occasions before calmly phoning the police as he lay bleeding to death on the kitchen floor.

This two-part documentary, which includes revealing interviews with David Jackson’s sister and his estranged brother, reveals the dark and disturbing secrets that lay behind this murder.

Bubble & Squeak Murder: The Killing of David Jackson will be available to stream on Crime + Investigation from Monday, 13th February.

Meet, Marry, Murder

Giving new meaning to the phrase ‘till death us do part’, Meet Marry Murder is a riveting true crime series that reveals gripping stories where an unsuspecting partner is killed by their spouse.

Whether driven by rage, jealousy or other lovers, these spouses commit the most deplorable crimes.

Season four of Meet, Marry, Murder will be available to stream on Crime + Investigation Play from Wednesday, 15th February. The first three seasons are available to stream now.

Imperfect Murder

With homicide cold cases leaving unanswered questions for the victim’s loved ones, killers are able to live free. Whether it’s botched investigations, lack of evidence, or forensic science not evolving fast enough, these failings have left people demanding justice for years.

In order to tell their stories, this new series centres around reopening these cold cases through police files, experts and material witnesses to ensure the killers are finally caught.

Imperfect Murder will be available to stream on Crime + Investigation Play from Tuesday, 28th February.
