Fearing the death penalty, the apprehended Kenneth Bianchi was quick to make a deal and agreed to testify against his elder cousin, Angelo Buono.

They were found guilty on the same day for various counts of rape and murder. Buono also avoided the death penalty and was sentenced to life without parole.
