White supremacists alleged to have killed father of Malcolm X

The oratory skills of Malcolm Little, or Malcolm X, were undoubtedly inherited from his Baptist father, Earl Little.

Earl was a follower of the radical Marcus Garvey who believed that the Negro should return to Africa. Earl also supported the civil rights movement and it’s generally believed that he was killed for his beliefs.

His death resulted in the mental breakdown of Malcolm’s mother and the splitting up of the family.

It’s unlikely his father’s killers realised what they had set in motion...
