Robert LeRoy Parker, alias 'Butch Cassidy', and Harry Langbaugh, alias ‘The Sundance Kid’, and their gang, The Wild Bunch, were more accustomed to robbing moving targets like freight trains loaded with bank money.
Intended to pay for their retirement, it was a clever switch of modus operandi as it landed them one of their biggest hauls.
A few months later they took a photo of themselves which was then used in ‘Wanted’ posters which was not one of their smartest moves.
It was a beginning of the end for the gang.
