Gambling dentist Doc Holiday kills for first time

This is where it all began for the OK Corral killer, deputy Doc Holliday. Back in 1879 he was a successful gambler living under a death sentence from tuberculosis.

He had only gone West because the doctors recommended the drier climate and his condition had destroyed his dental practice.

He started a saloon and when a former army scout threatened one of his working girls and started shooting up the place, Doc shot back, just the once.
