Every Tuesday evening, 12-year-old Keith Bennett walked to his grandmother’s home to spend the night. When he didn’t arrive on this night in 1964, she assumed that his mother hadn’t sent him.

His mother had and she had made sure he was safely over the crossing before setting off for bingo. Hindley had then lured Keith into her car and taken him to Brady who raped and strangled him.

As they could not remember where they had buried him, Keith’s mother has never been able to say a final goodbye…
