Jamaican born Colin Ferguson fatally shot six people and injured 19 others on a train before he was stopped by three passengers.

Unbelievably, despite the plethora of witnesses, Ferguson’s defence would be that he didn’t do it. He fired his defence team when they suggested an insanity defence.

So they then went to the judge, saying that only someone insane would defend themselves with the defence that they weren’t there when there were so many witnesses. Ferguson received 315 years.
