Kate McCann tucked her three children up in bed in their rented Portuguese apartment. Her eldest, Madeleine, was wearing pink pyjamas and told her how fun the day had been.
Kate and her husband Gerry then went 100 yards to a tapas restaurant arriving at 20:40. They ate with seven of their friends. At 21:05 Gerry checked on the children.
At 21:30, one of the ‘Tapas Seven’ did the same. At 22:00 Kate went to the apartment to find a window opened.
Madeleine was gone...
