Home-grown terrorist McVeigh was first profiled by the Waco Siege chief hostage negotiator, Clinton Van Zandt.

He realised that the Oklahoma bomb was two years to the day since the FBI had ended that siege, with the loss of life of 76 people.

Van Zandt said the bomber would be a white male, in his mid 20s, with military experience, who hated the government for Waco.

Timothy McVeigh was a white male, 27-years-old, and former army marksman who killed 168 for exactly that reason.
