COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(“the Terms and Conditions”)
The promoter of this competition is AETN UK our address is Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex, TW7 5QD. AETN UK is the company that in these terms and conditions is called “we” or “us”.
These Terms and Conditions apply to this Competition and form a legally binding agreement between you and us. Please note that we are entitled to amend these Competition Terms and Conditions and/or cancel the Competition without notice where this is necessary in our reasonable opinion for legal or administrative reasons. Any changes to the Competition Terms and Conditions, notices of cancellation or other notices will be set out on this webpage.
Although this Competition is run by AETN UK, the prizes are being provided by the Museum of London (“the Prize Provider”), accordingly, the terms and conditions of the Prize Provider will also apply and must be accepted and complied with by the Winners. These shall also include compliance with any age restrictions and/or health and safety regulations which apply whilst the Winners enjoy their Prize, are being filmed and/or are taking part in any other promotional activity.

WHO CAN ENTER?
This Competition is open to residents of the UK and excludes employees (and their families) of AETN UK, Sky Limited , the Museum of London and their associated companies.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over on or before 29 February 2016.
Entrants must also meet all the eligibility criteria contained within both these Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions of the Museum of London and if selected as winner of the First Prize the Terms and Conditions set out within the website of the Restaurant, as defined below.
We reserve the right to verify your eligibility and to check your identity. If selected as a winner, you will be asked for proof of your identity and your eligibility. All personal details & information you supply must be truthful and accurate. Your failure to provide any required proof in accordance with the timescales set out herein will result in your disqualification from the Competition.
Any person who breaches any of these Terms and Conditions will be excluded from access to the Competition or disqualified from the Competition.
HOW TO ENTER AND COMPETITION RULES
The Competition opens on 02 February 2016 and closes at 10:00am on 29 February 2016.
By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by both these Terms and Conditions and those of the Prize Provider.
Entries can only be submitted online via the website “www.crimeandinvestigation.co.uk” where there will be a competition box with a question and a choice of answers. To enter you must select an answer to the question, agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and provide your email address.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
The number of entries per entrant is unlimited.
Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
All entries must be complete to validate the entry and we will not accept any responsibility for entries not properly received, incomplete, incorrectly completed or delayed due to technical problems. In addition, we will not accept any responsibility for any technical or other error that may arise with the delivery of any entry.
You understand that you are providing your information both to AETN UK and the Museum of London.
CLOSING DATES AND SELECTION OF WINNERS
The Competition will close at 10:00 am on 29 February 2016. Any entries received after 10:00am on 29 February 2016will not be entered.
Within five days of this date all Entries will be collated (“the Collated Entries”). From the Collated Entries, only those with a correct answer will be put forward for selection to win a Prize. Selection of 11 prize winners will be made at random from the correct Collated Entries. From the 11 winners one winner will be selected at random to win the First Prize, as defined below.
The decision of who is selected at random by us is final, and no correspondence or discussion concerning how the Winners were selected will be entered into.
Each Winner will be contacted within 5 days of the judges’ decision and their eligibility to enter the Competition confirmed.
Each Winner will then have 5 days after notification in which to prove to AETN UK by email that they are eligible to accept their prize.
Failure to verify eligibility within this time-limit will result in a Winner forfeiting their prize.
Failure by a Winner to meet the eligibility requirements will result in their entry being invalid and we reserve the right (but are under no obligation) to select a replacement Winner from the Collated Entries.
The names of all the Winners will be available to anyone sending a stamped addressed envelope to AETN UK, Competition Queries, Legal & Business Affairs Department, Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex, TW7 5QD before the end of August 2016.
PRIZES
10 winners will receive two free tickets to the “The Crime Museum Uncovered” exhibition at the Museum of London. Please allow up to two months to receive your tickets.
The winner of the First Prize will receive a private tour for two people of “The Crime Museum Uncovered” exhibition at the Museum of London, plus the ‘Taste of Bread Street Kitchen’ (a cocktail each and three signature dishes for two people to share) at the Bread Street Kitchen restaurant (“the Restaurant”) (“the First Prize”). Travel, spending money, charges or any associated travel insurances are not included as part of this prize.
Please note all the prizes are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred, or used in conjunction with any other offer. No cash alternative is available.
Once the winner of the First Prizes’ eligibility is verified, they will be contacted by the Prize Provider to confirm the day on which the Winner will be able to claim the First Prize. The First Prize must be booked at least two weeks in advance and taken before 10 April 2016. The First Prize is not available on 14 February 2016 or between the 25-28 March 2016.
Once the date is confirmed, the Prize Provider will send to the First Prize Winner full details of the First Prize and confirmation of the day selected.
We won't be liable if any of the details or notifications fail to reach you or you cannot accept them for reasons beyond our control. In addition, if the winner is unable to attend the Museum of London and/or the Restaurant on the date that is agreed no alternative prize or cash alternative will be awarded.
If you are a Winner of this competition you agree that you will allow us and/or the Prize Provider to use your names and picture (if applicable) in marketing and publicity undertaken by us, which may be in more than one country and which may be in a number of media, for example, print, television, internet.
USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS
We will use your personal details to enter you into the Competition. Where we, the Prize Provider or other companies in our corporate group want to use your personal details for other purposes (such as marketing) we will offer you the opportunity to agree or to refuse this.
Your personal details will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in accordance with the law as it relates to people’s personal details.
OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any liability which cannot be limited or excluded by the law. These Terms and Conditions also do not affect the rights that are granted to you as a consumer by the law.
When entering the Competition, we will not be liable to you if you suffer loss or inconvenience because of the failures of persons or systems that we do not directly control – for example, mobile phone network operators, internet service providers and software providers.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
