Thursday, March 4th, 2005 six RCMP officers walk onto a farm in Mayerthorpe, Alberta. They were on the property to investigate reports of stolen goods and a possible cannabis growing operation. As four of the officers entered a Quonset hut, two others stayed outside. Within minutes shots rang out and the four police officers were killed.
