Unholy Bible / A Daughter’s Justice
Inez Deaton drives across town to visit a friend and never returns. Her husband reports her missing, and police begin to search. They find Inez the next morning, dead on the banks of a bayou just beyond a car wash. Deaton has been stabbed repeatedly, with something like an ice pick. She has been raped, and semen and foreign hairs are recovered. The case eventually goes cold.

The remains of two women and a baby are found near a cattle crossing in Mineral Wells, TX, west of Ft. Worth. The women had been missing for about a year, and an itinerant oilman named Danny Bible was the chief suspect.
