As a child he was playful and loved music but his personality began to change after he was exposed to his cousin, an ex-Green Beret veteran of Vietnam who reveled in brutal killings.

As a child Ramirez watched as his cousin shot his wife right in front of him. Ramirez might have been raped by a remedial school teacher and soon after he began smoking grass and sniffing glue.

He became a peeping tom and an expert burglar by the time he was 12. And it was all down hill from there.

At age 25 he was arrested for five robberies, fourteen burglaries, four counts of sodomy, three acts of forced oral copulation, two kidnappings; three lewd acts on children, six rapes and 13 murders.

He was Richard Ramirez , "The Night Stalker" and he claimed to be "the right hand man of Satan".
