A young nurse disappears on her way to work. Later, Etta Smith hears the news of a house to house search for a missing woman on a radio broadcast.

She drives to her local police station and reports she can locate the missing woman. She even outlines on a map where police should look. Rather than thanking her, police now suspect Etta is involved with a murder.
