Actor Robert Blake worked his way up from child star on Our Gang, and one of the killers in In Cold Blood, to his best-known role as TV's Baretta.

He experienced child abuse, alcoholism, and depression, and was known to collect guns. He was accused of killing his wife, a grifter named Bonnie Lee Bakely – the mother of his infant child.

His was the biggest celebrity murder trial since OJ Simpson. And, like OJ, Blake has not been convicted.
