Ingleside is not even on the way to anywhere. Nobody in the sultry town is just passing through. It is a place where poeple come to stay, a place of blue-collar jobs, strong families and pretty decent fishing. A place where local politics, church meetings and the Dairy Queen are major draws.

Ingleside is not a place people go to for the action, or at least not until Mark Crawford was elected Mayor. He had dreams for Ingleside and for himself. Dreams the little town barely noticed before it was too late.

In 1996 the town woke up when a murdered body was dug out of a shallow grave. The prime suspect was the town’s prime citizen.
