Murder He Wrote / Caught By the Past
At 9:30 pm on 19 June 1989, Exavor and Catherine Giller wrap up work at their family-owned Detroit cab company. As they approach their home in nearby Michigan, Catherine notices the kitchen light is off, but she remembers leaving it on.

When she enters the dark house, a stranger appears and strikes her unconscious. Catherine awakens in a daze and finds her husband lying unresponsive in the driveway. She fears he has had a heart attack. When the paramedics arrive, they discover Exavor has been shot in the chest and is dead.

On an October morning in 1986, reporters and staff at WSB-TV Atlanta file in for the day, but the receptionist, 37-year-old Clydine Dallas, is a no show. Concerned co-workers call her family. Tasha Dallas, 20, takes the call and heads straight to her mom's house. She sees the house is ransacked and in the bedroom, Tasha finds her mom naked, bound and gagged with her own sheets. Tasha dials 911 and reports that her mom has been murdered.
