WATCH CLIPA Deadly Pattern / A Desperate Housewife
It's 4:00am and William New makes a 911 call to police saying an intruder broke into his mobile home in Santee, CA, injuring his wife Phyllis. New says he left for 30 minutes to get migraine medicine for his wife and when he returned, she was not breathing. The dispatcher asks New to perform CPR, but he declines saying, "There's blood all over the place".
On the morning of 10 June 1982, Brenda Kirkelie calls 911 and says her husband Greg has just been shot inside their boot shop in Corvallis, Oregon. Officer Mary Eichler, who is also Brenda's good friend, responds to the call and arrives at the scene to find a visibly shaken Brenda.
Inside the shop, Greg and Brenda's infant daughter sleeps in a bassinette, and Greg lies in a pool of blood on the floor. He is soon pronounced dead.
