29 May - 'Perfect crime' suspect socialite Leopold interviewed by police

To commit the ‘perfect crime’ it doesn’t matter if you’re caught, only that you’re not convicted. Unfortunately, this date marked the start of the downfall for child prodigy, Nathan Leopold. He and his similarly wealthy friend, Richard Loeb, had decided that the kidnapping, killing and ransoming of a child would be the supreme test of their intellectual skills.
