US ATF tipped off to illegal firearms manufacture in Waco

When a UPS driver saw that a delivery to the ranch of David Koresh contained grenade casings, he told the sheriff.

This set off a chain of events that would end with hundreds dead in Waco and Oklahoma. The sheriff tipped off the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and their investigations suggested weapons were being converted to rapid-fire automatic.

Koresh found out about the investigation and invited in the ATF but they declined and continued to prepare to forcibly raid the ranch…
