It was a bitterly cold evening on Sunday 2nd March 1986 when Kevin went to the local shops near his home in Addiscombe, Croydon in Surrey. Kevin left to buy some eggs ready for his cookery exam the following day. He hasn't been seen since. Kevin’s sister Alex says: "We have no reason to believe Kevin ran away. He was such a considerate person. If he wanted to stay out at night, he'd always let us know. Just before he went out, he'd had a bath emptied everything out of his pockets. He only took £1 with him, nothing else. It just doesn't make sense". Kevin’s family is desperate for news and has never given up hope. They have urgent family news to tell him. Every family occasion, and especially at Christmas Kevin’s family comb through the post searching in vain for that familiar handwriting. At the time of his disappearance Kevin was then a tall, slim teenager, with light brown hair and hazel blue eyes. The night he disappeared Kevin was wearing a red, white and black Lacoste Bomber Jacket, dark blue jeans and Hi - Tec trainers.
