A murder investigation has been launched following a death in Kentish Town
Police were called at approx 20.45 on Saturday 10th June, 2006 to Queens Crescent j/w Gilden Crescent, NW5 to reports of a fight and a person injured.
On arrival police found a man lying in the street suffering from head injuries.
The victim was taken to the Royal Free Hospital where he died on 12th June, 2006.
He was Lee Moriarty (27), originally of the NW5 area - although having recently resided in Broxbourne, Herts
It is understood Lee became involved in an altercation with a group of four or five youths, during which he was assaulted, knocked to the ground and sustained head injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information that can assist with the investigation is asked to call the incident room on 020 7321 7228.
